Why Can't Girls? is an empowerment movement started by founder Chrishawn Simpson. Why Can't Girls? was started because Chrishawn wanted to inspire, encourage, and motivate girls and women to achieve whatever dreams they desire. Far too often, girls are made to feel inferior and that is not acceptable. Girls, in fact, can do just as much, if not more, than boys can do. It's time for girls to show up and show out. Girls don't have to be pigeon-holed into careers as secretaries, receptionists, dancers (and there's NOTHING wrong with those careers AT ALL!!); girls can be mathematicians, scientists, engineers, CEOs, pilots, in the military, and so much more!

 

Whatever girls strive to be, they CAN be. With perseverance, dedication, strength, courage, persistence, and hard work, girls can do it all! We weren't born to blend in with the crowd, we were born to stand out! It's time for girls to shine like we were born to do!! When they say you can't do it, prove them wrong.  We are girls that can!
